What's my donation going toward?
Give Like a Mother (GLAM) accepts gently used clothing items, coats, and shoes from the community. In addition to these donated items, we give only new socks and underwear in each pack we distribute – an cost that continues to grow with our service population.
To provide each child with essentials like new socks and underwear, we spend about $12 per clothing pack. As the number of children we serve continues to grow, so does the cost of providing the basics! Your donation will help us cover the cost of purchasing new socks, underwear, shoes, and clothing essentials we don't receive through donations for the children and teens we serve, ensuring each has the items needed to feel comfortable, confident, and ready to put their best foot forward.
No child deserves to feel the shame of inadequate undergarments. By joining the Confidence Club, you help give kids in our community warm feet and clean seats!
