Ways to Give Time

• Fulfilling Clothing Requests - Help us create clothing packs for children who have requested assistance.
• Sorting - Sort donated clothing into gender, size, and season.
• Housekeeping - Light cleaning of surfaces, vacuuming, etc.
• Laundry - Pick up and launder clothing, coats, and shoes that need a little love!
• Mending - Light mending of buttons and seams.
• Driver - We are seeking drivers to pick up large donations or deliver clothing to our clients or partners.
• Shoe Cleaning - Sneakerheads, this is the job for you! 
• Organizing - “Spark Joy” in our warehouse by helping us organize everything from our layout to labels.
• Warehouse Management - For the guys (and gals) that prefer physical tasks like moving boxes, shelves and other items in the warehouse.
• Clothing Drive Sponsorship - Prefer volunteering offsite? Help us host a clothing drive at your school, church or place of employment! 

• Data Entry - Collect and enter timesheets, inventory and other information into our online database. 
• Data Management - Maintain and organize data. 
• Intake Coordination - Conduct client intake and manage our reception desk.
• Social Media Management - Manage social media accounts and create engaging posts that spread the word about our organization. 
• Grant Writing - Research grant opportunities. Write and submit grants for funding.
• Marketing - Create and implement strategies on how to market our organization to businesses for partnership, material and monetary donations.
• Research - Gather statistics on how programs like ours have an impact on children, grades, performance.
• School Ambassador - Help us coordinate with your school and leverage resources! 
• Inventory - Help us create and maintain an inventory database.

• Legal Counsel - Nonprofit knowledge appreciated but not required.
• Accounting/Financial Counsel - Nonprofit knowledge appreciated but not required. Review books. Advise on plans for immediate and future funds.
• Web Design - Management and modification of existing website
• Marketing - Focus on strategies on how to market our organization to businesses for partnership, material and monetary donations.
• Corporate Outsourcing - Reach out to local corporations for material donations.
• Grant Writing - Research grant opportunities. Write/submit grants for funding.
• Fundraising - Organize ways to raise funds throughout the year, plan annual fundraiser, reach out to companies for sponsorship.
• Research - Gather statistics on how programs like ours have an impact on children, grades, performance.

At this time, volunteers ages 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult chaperone. For groups with multiple children under age 13, a chaperone must be present for every 3 children.

• Onsite Volunteer Group Tasks - Sorting clothing, making outfits, pairing pajamas, hanging, organizing, cleaning, and bundling socks and underwear.
• Offsite Volunteer Group Tasks - Clothing drives, laundering of clothing, shoe cleaning.
